Villa Gli Aranci is an ancient family estate, including 3 fully renovated 18-century farm house villas. The estate boasts a huge, luscious orange grove spanning 3 hectares that gives guests a spectacular view - a sea of orange trees as far as the eye can see.
The Villa also offers guest an equally breathtaking, magnificent view of Taormina, the Ionian sea and the volcano Etna. From the ice and snow capped peaks of a not-so-distant Mt. Etna, each evening guests enjoy delightful cool breeze after a sunny day of beach, touring, wine tasting, golfing and much more….
These offer a rustic contrast to the delicate pink paint work and dark green wood shutters that adorn the guest homes.
Guests reach the villas, nestled within the orange grove, after entering through an old, private gate and crossing a rolling meadow. Each house boasts a simple façade with untreated stones, including actual grey lava stones from past Etna eruption.Although each residence has a slight different sizes and shape all display the same charming, elegant architectural design and taste, right down to the private terrace. These are shaded with pergolas in raffia and grapevines, offering guest an Eden-like space of tranquillity and respite from the Sicilian sun. During the evening the beautiful pool is romantically lit and bougainvilleas and jasmines flank an old-fashioned well.
The very kind and helpful owners reside in a completely separate unit and are available to assist guests, yet total privacy and discretion is guaranteed.
